How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now have Livestock (bulls) which I use to plough my gardens in time not like before when I used to delay because I had to hire bulls from other people.I could not have gotten this Livestock if I never received the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by supporting families in my village to build permanent structures, acquire plots of land, food and others have started businesses. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have not yet spent my second transfer, but I'm planning to spend it on cultural function (paying dowry).

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I will be ploughing in time because I bought my own oxen.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I became happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying 2 oxen at 1,000,000ugx and an ox-plough at 250,000ugx. I bought household items (Bed, mattress, 2 pairs of bedsheets, clothes). The balance of the money am spending on food.

Receiving this money means I will be able to marry a wife.

The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up healthily.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is having to stay alone as a single without a wife because I do not have resources to facilitate marriage.
