What did you spend your third transfer on?
I did spend my third transfer to finish building my house that I started upon receiving my second transfer. I spent a bigger amount to purchase cement at 30,000 KES and a steel door worth 7,000 KES. The remaining amount I spent on my household expenses. I did not have a house but now I do have thanks to GD.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the whole second transfer to buy building materials such as ironsheets and timber as l am planning to build a house in my own home since l am staying in somebody house, where l am not free.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Givedirectly did well in reshaping people's lives by giving us unconditional transfer by one is to decide on how to spent it.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life different if l could not have received the transfer is that l could not have manag to by building materials to build my own house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying 11 iron sheets and timber with the entire amount which I'll use to set my own compound after receiving the second transfer. I want to have my own compound to avoid the many quarrels that I face everyday with my extended family members.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited when I received the money because it would help me put an end to the many quarrels.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I do casual jobs and this is not a permanent job so at times I don't get the job and this makes my family go without food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Am always happy in the morning because God has enabled me see a bright morning to go and look for money which will help my family.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
God would have answered my prayers because if I get this money am going to build a modern house.
