The most important task that Give Directly performs is the transfer of cash to individuals. I benefited from the previous two transfers by purchasing a goat and two chickens. In addition, the money has enabled me to purchase enough food for my family. I cannot think of anything that Give Directly does wrong.

My husband died a few weeks after being enrolled in the cash program, and life has been difficult since then because he was the primary provider in the family. I started making and selling charcoal but quit because it was physically demanding and caused me a lot of body pain. With no employment, often you would find me home either seated or doing some house chores. on this day, my son, whom I had depended on mostly, had not been contracted that week. As he normally worked as a handyman at a construction site. For days we had been going to bed on an empty stomach. So, when I got to see the message that give directly sent me some money, I was ecstatic. Even in my hunger, all I thought of were ways to be financially independent. The first thing I thought of doing was to purchase a goat to revive my pastoral farming business. I then bought some nourishments with the amount that remained to feed my daughter, her four children, and I as we all live under the same roof.

We also have challenges when it comes to food provision, especially after the droughts that cost me 20 of my goats. now that I'm receiving these funds, I have witnessed some improvements on my end. I started working on reviving my pastoral farming business as I bought a goat and we also have some funds that cover our food expenses. So, there has been a great difference ever since I started receiving this money.
