What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on renting land for farming sugarcane. This will provide me with an income that I will use to facilitate the needs of my family especially paying school fees for my children since i am a single mother.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would've never managed to send my children to boarding school because I couldn't afford it however my life is different in a way that i sent my children to boarding school and I am able to pay their school fees because i secured a source of income with the transfers i receieved.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The GD staff sensitized us and always communicate to us so well and by doing so, they do well.

The moment when I received my money I got so excited and immediately went mobile money at night to withdraw it so that I can sleep with it my hands.

I am planning to spend my transfer on buying a plot of land. The remaining balance will help me get back to my former small business.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is the ability to pay school fees for my children. The eldest is in senior five.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is lacking enough sustainable living. This is because the council confiscated my capital which I was using to sell fish.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is afternoon hours. This is because I do most of my work in that time.
