What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying a cow, food and materials that am going to use for plastering my house. I kept 400,000ugx for paying my child's school fees next year.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, Give Directly did well to send us finacial support, with money i was able to solve many problems in my home. Give Directly did well to investigate and saw to it that money was sent to the intended beneficiaries.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is diffirent than it would have been if i never got money, i worry no more. I had mortgaged my land for three years and had no money for paying off the mortgage but with the money i received i was able to get it back. This money has also brought peace to my family, i nolonger quarrel with my wife because am able to provide for her what she wants.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spend my first transfer to buy cement at Ugx280,000, sand at Ugx160,000, rock aggregate at Ugx120,000, Ugx550,000 to clear a loan, and the balance food stuff.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money at around 01:00 hours, I ran out to join others shouting in celebration, and that day my family celebrated by eating meat which we rarely have.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is peace of mind for I used to worry how to complete plastering my house, and i can now afford to buy food, even as simple as a cabbage at 500 Ugx.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i faced in life is when my spouse under went unfortunate birth operation My household lost a baby in this costly operation.My family got disorganized and now we are experiencing biting poverty.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is evening hours.This when I chat and make fun with friends at chebukube centre,and it relaxes my mind .
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will use to furnish my ironroofed house well. I will fix doors, Windors, plastering the wall. This will make my family sleep in decent house.
