What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on constructing a house because I did not have a house, and I was staying in a rental house. People used to look down upon me because I did not have a house but now I'm a proud woman because I own a house and I do not have to budget for house rent monthly.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer I spent 40000 KES on 40 iron sheets that I will use to build an iron-roofed house in my own home and spent the rest on food. I am having good ideas on how to develop and accumulate wealth which can only be implemented in my home as opposed to where I currently live that makes me feel restricted.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I never knew that one day, I will anticipate having my own home. As a widow, my husband died and left me with nothing and hopelessness so receiving this money has been a turn around in my life. I can now anticipate good things in my life like building an iron-roofed house in my own home and investing in farming like poultry keeping to improve my living standard. In short, I am now hopeful!

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Managing to provide for daily upkeep for my family has been my major hardship. My husband and I earn very little from the small businesses that we run and we strain so much providing all the meals for our family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the evening when meeting with my family again and when I get time to have some rest once again
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will enable me own a home of my own. My family is too big and the house am renting is too small to comfortably accommodate all of us.
