Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The greatest impact is that I am now a proud owner of a permanent house. When I received the cash transfer, I had to execute my plan of constructing a permanent house. I was tired of sleeping under a thatched house for about two years. This is an achievement for me within a short period of time.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received the message at night. I woke up and read it. At that moment I felt very happy and relieved that my worries were no more.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the first cash transfer to purchase bricks worth UGX 360000 and sand worth UGX 65000 and a door worth UGX 180000. I bought two windows worth UGX 130000 and timber worth UGX 105000 and iron sheets worth UGX 261000 and ventilators worth UGX 3000. I also bought nails worth UGX 31000. I paid the builders UGX 280000. The remaining portion of the cash transfer was spent on food and fetching water for the construction.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to invest in agriculture. My family will buy oxen to use for ploughing. This will increase on the amount of crop yields got each season.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moments is always during afternoon's after altleast getting what to eat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is poverty. My family somes times depends on a single meal a day.
