How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am now a free person because I paid all my debts. My life is now relaxed and comfortable. Had I not received this transfer, probably the worries and thoughts of where to get money would have killed me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly did well to give me money that enabled me cement my house and clear all my outstanding debts. However there is nothing bad that I can say about give directly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing building materials which enabled me cement my house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, my children are now healthy, we have paid off the debts that were bothering us and gave us a lot of stress, now we are stress free.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I learnt that I had received my token transfers, I felt very excited and we turned on our radio and danced as an expression of joy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my transfers, I bought ten bags of cement at 330,000ugx and sand which costed 130,000ugx for completing the construction of my house. I paid off a loan of 1,000,000ugx that I had borrowed for meeting treatment bills for my children and buying a second hand motor cycle to support us in transport. I bought two mattresses at 165,000ugx to impove on our living conditions. I acquired utensils like plates, soucepans, cups worth 50,000ugx which will be used at home. I acquired a drum for harvesting rain water at 25,000ugx to improve on water availability.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which i face in life is sickness .since I have twins when one falls sick all of them fall sick, so this faced my hunsband to sell off one garden.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is always evening .when my children have eaten and they have not fallen sick.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving money means a way of helping my house hold to acquire oxygen to help my family to improve on agriculture.
