How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before GD came, I planned to build a house of my own but could not be realized due to lock of funding. My entire life had been farming and my farming have not yield any positive result, even my products sales could not start a house. I was enrolled as a recipient on the GD program and received my first, second and third transfers. With the first, second and third transfers, I can now start to build a house of my own.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I want to take this time to say a very big thanks to Give Directly for services rendered us during the entire enrollment process. Yon was very transparent and your jobs were done excellently.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was able to buy four (4) bundles of zinc, wire Niles, zinc Niles, paid people to cut the Sticks for the building. I was also able to comfortably buy enough food for my family. Thanks to the entire Give Directly family for the level of support.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am successfully enrolled in to Give Directly's Cash transfer program, I want to use some of the money to built a zinc house. The reason I want to built a zinc house is because my husband has two wives and so he haven't been able to build zinc hiuses for us due to the lack of money. Even the house where my son and I are currently living has a tash roof which we face serious problem with during the course of the rainy season, where rain falls almost everyday and night.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what has brought me joy is that I am currently well and doing my normal things as usual. I was sick for almost five months but as God could have it, im now well and so seeing my self moving strong and healthy now, brings me so much joy and happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I'm currently facing several challenges but the major one is the lack of money. My husband and I make farm as means of substaining the family and as we speak, he has two wives so the farm he makes for us seperately aren't big enough to keep us up and even provide us with other needs. I'm also currently eneged in to cocoa farming but due to the lack of money, I haven't been able to get for myself a large portion of farm because I won't be able to enlarge the farm in the absence of money.
