What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the third transfer on paying school fee to my son in secondary school, I also bought household items that I didn't have before, I managed to fixed windows and door and what remain I gave my spouse to start a business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because, I managed to clear fee arrears that was worrying me, I also open a business that my family currently depend on.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly doing well by giving cash directly to the most vulnerable recipients to give them hopes in life.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying 32 iron sheets at 22,200 KES, 10 kilogram of roofing and ordinary nails at 2,000 KES, wall poles at 8,000 KES, paid 3,000 KES on my medical bills,5,000 KES on wages and i have kept the rest of the money for further use.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is being able to build a bigger house.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend the transfer on a pair of ploughing oxen, because currently I have a piece of land that I wish to cultivate and grow crops on, but I lack the means to do so. I also intend to use part of the transfer to pay school fees for my daughter who will be joining high school next year, God willing.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I am proudest of the fact that I have been able to put food on the table for my family, even in the face of hardships that I usually pass through, especially during the rainy season when our village is prone to floods.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life has been having to move with my family to a temporary shelter after having been displaced by floods.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am with my family and we are all eating our dinner.
