When I got the cash transfer, I kept it to myself for the fear of be stolen. I just cerebrated it in private.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Last year I did not farm because I have leg problems to the extent that I couldn't walk on my own. Due to that I did not had enough food and I rely on buying which was very expensive. With the coming in of the GD transfer, I was able to buy food. I now have enough food that will take us for the whole year. I have also used part of the transfer to employee people who are working in my maize field, and by God's grace I will have enough food next year.

I used the money to buy 12 bags of cements which I have used to floor the house and to build toilet and bathroom. I also bought 5 bags of maize, matress, bed and uniform for my children.
