How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have managed to construct the iron roofed house with the Give Directly transfers within the shortest time.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well to give individual beneficiaries their transfers directly. There is nothing they are not doing well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying Cement UGX 310,000, 3 trips of sand UGX 270,000, Labour UGX 400,000, aggregate, marram and rods UGX 553,000 and food UGX 100,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, now I have my permanent structure which I thought before it would take me long to construct.

The moment I received my money,I became happy.

I have spent my first transfer for building my permanent structure at 1,600,000ugx and bought utensils and food at 100,000ugx.

When i get the money, i will start a business that will generate some income for me to go back to school.

Being that am working for someone, the happiest part of my day is when i finnish work successfully and i get paid.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
It is when i lost my father who was facilitating my education. This caused me to drop out of school.
