What did you spend your third transfer on?
My third transfer has really facilitated the education of my 2 children, one taking a master degree and the other one first degree in public health. These had been my major budgets that had been giving me a sleepless night but now, I feel very much relieved.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the cash transfer in that I have managed to invest in my children's education-as a widow, I never had any investment to cushion my life against future hard economic time but now, I am glad, my children will now be my source of income in the near future being that currently they are earning their degrees, courtesy of Give Directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, I was pleased with the fact that Give Directly came for our help at our door steps and this was just so great, however, I would urge Directly to diversify their aid, not just focusing on cash transfers but other development programs like education and health independently.
