How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
In the upcoming year I hope to see more changes in my life by having my own house and being able to cater for my children and myself.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Since I was born I haven't not receive money freely before from any NGO without paying it in return or working for it but GiveDirectly was the very first NGO that ever make me to experience that. Secondly, through GiveDirectly I was able to take my daughter who was seriously sick to the hospital and went through all the expensives and if it was not GiveDirectly my daughter would have been dead by now, so I am begging the organisation to keep doing this great job.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I haven't spend my fourth transfer

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was working on the farm fixing cooking pot when I received my money message. It was one of the joyous day in my life. I felt so happy. Because my motorcycle that I have has broken down. And I have been thinking on how to raise money to purchase a fairly used one. Thanks to GiveDirectly for helping me out.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is being able to have money saved for the purchase of a fairly used motorcycle. I was not able to raise such an amount to solve this my problem. So thank God for GiveDirectly coming my way to help me out.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have save my money to add it up to buy a fairly used motorcycle. It will help me with my pot fixing work. Motorcycle helps me a lot to move round to get the needy materials for my pot fixing work. So I am very thankful to GD for giving me money to be able to solve this problem.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My wife is mentally ill and under going treatment in Buchanan. When I receive this transfer, my first priority will be how to help her get well. When she gets well, than we build our own house. This house is not mine, and my wife is not also well. So it makes it difficult for me to really get money or do something good.
What is the happiest part of your day?
With all of the challenges I'm going through, I am well. That's the only thing that makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Things are very difficult because of my loneliness. I'm unable to make farm and pay attention to my wife at the same time. My major challenge is money, that will help me carry my wife to herbalist. She is presently in the street.
