Our two roomed house is not in a good condition. We need to cement the floor and install new iron sheets on the walls. Additionally, we plan to add an extra room for the kids. The health conditions for our family will be better and hence reduced respiratory problems due to dust. Our children will also have their own room and give us some privacy. I believe it can cost about $700 to do repairs and add one more room. We enjoy goat farming due to their suitability to this region and ease of marketability. We plan to spend the rest of the transfer to buy more goats. Hopefully we can acquire about ten goats. It will depend on the market price at that time. Bright future lies ahead in owning several goats.

Goat farming is a good venture here, we own about twenty five. They provide us with milk for tea and also sell some during emergencies. Goats are our biggest hope and source of happiness. We look forward to owning more as they breed. It's a joy knowing that someday in the future it will secure our children's education needs.

Food inavailability is our biggest challenge. We mainly depend on livestock farming, more specifically goats. They breed well but cannot sustain our family continuously for long. Hence we may sometimes lack food due to inadequate funds to purchase. Farming is a no go zone here due to the long droughts and rocky landscape. My husband does a motorcycle taxi business, sometimes he may not get enough money for food. It leads to food shortage or us skipping means. It has made our lives difficult as a family.
