What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying sheep for rearing. I also spent part of the money to plaster my house I had constructed using the second transfer. Using part of the money,I spent on buying a set of furniture and a television for my children. I am happy they no longer have to go to my neighbour's house to watch TV.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have been able to construct a pit latrine. This could have never been possible or it could have taken me a long time to build one. My living standards have also gone high just because of the transfers. I am very grateful.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly does not do well by not recruiting everyone into the programs. I think they should enroll everyone as people have various problems regardless of their levels of income. On the other hand,GiveDirectly does well by ensuring that everyone's life changes for the better through their cash.
