How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life is different than it would have been because I have an iron sheet roofed house to sleep in, a bicycle to ease my movement in the village, and this brings me happiness. Re-furnishing a house roof with grass has become really hard due to scarcity of roofing grass these days, and I used to move long distances on foot.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well sendig me money that has enabled me to build a simple iron sheet roofed house, and acquire a bicycle to ease movement in my village; and I can't see anything it hasn't done well.

My second transfer was spent to build an iron sheet roofed house by buying cement, bricks, iron sheets, and paying labour.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am now healthy having spent part of the money for treatment, before I received this cash transfer, I could not access treatment.

Receiving this money means I will be able to buy oxen for ploughing and a cow so that I can have milk.

I am happiest in the evening when I am at the centre drinking with other members of the community.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is paying school fees.
There is very limited source of income and yet I have to meet the education needs of my children.
