How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have any new goals, because I already had a goal before receiving the transfer, so I decided to continue with my old goal which is to build my new house, for my family and I to live a good life. And to also pay my children school fees. This is what I really been wishing to do.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly can help with money, for them to start new business, develope their community and put their children in school. GiveDirectly don't ask people for help or anything when they help them.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I withdraw my money from my mobile account, I bought one bundle of zinc to my decent house for my family and I to live a good life, then I also pay my four children school fees, because I want them to become someone good tomorrow.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"Looking at the condition of my house, we uses thatch as zinc for the house so, during the rainy season when rain falls there's a lot of leaks from the roof. It is because there's no money to buy a zinc for proper roofing. So if I'm successful to receive this cash grant from givedirectly I'm going to build a house with a zinc roofing. And if there's a reaming I'm going to support my children in school."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"in the last six months there has been no joy or happiness. It is because the far I made this year animals ate all the crops on the farm leaving with no crops or produce."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Lack of Money is my major challenge. I started to make a Cocoa and a Palm plantation for myself and family on a 2 Lotts of land to produce and sell so as to get more earning for my family and I. But during the dry season there's no produce from the plantation, it is because the there's no money to get the plantation going. This has limate the income of my household, reducing the livelihood."
