How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is far much different compared to before I got the transfer, I used to eat once a day but now I can eat thrice a day and as a family we are happy.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well to sensitize people to spend their money wisely according to their priority needs. They also gave us money which has reduced the family conflicts because family heads can now provide basic needs for their members. Give Directly is 100% good, there is nothing they are doing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have not yet spent UGX 1,600,000 of my second transfer but I intend to use it for constructing an iron roofed house. I used UGX 30,000 for buying a sauspan , sugar at UGX 2,000 and airtime of UGX 1,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My standards of living have improved a little because initially I could only have one meal a day to two meals a day. I have stopped begging for salt from neighbors since I can afford buying it. I have stopped taking my Medication of the operation because of the happiness I have now and the pain in my life has stopped paining me.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
First of all I started ululating, dance and praising God for bringing Give Directly that liberated me from poverty because life was so hard. I ran for the first time in my life since I was operated.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used UGX 1200000 to purchase construction materials, UGX to to purchase household items, Stocked maize at UGX 100000 and Feeding UGX 50000.

This transfers I will spend on building ironroofed house since it has become hard to get thatching grass.

The happiest part of the day is afternoon especially after getting food to eat with my family.

The biggest hardship I face is serious bitting poverty. My family can even afford decent meals and house hold items.
