I was very happy and thankful when I received my money. I felt very happy because this is something unexpected I could not stop smiling.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I now own a house that is quite secure. I nolonger have to worry everyday about my housing condition and this gives me great relief because now I am spending my energy doing and focusing on other things.

When the money came I had already started building a house so the money helped me finish the house in good time. I bought Timber and iron sheets and paid the labour for the roof. I also went on and bought food for my family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this transfer will help me improve my household I plan on purchasing farm inputs because I have plans on farming, this will help me have enough food and the excuse will sell for income

The most happiest moment is when my family has enough food and when we are chatting
