How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different is that, my capital has increased and now my children are not chased away from school because I can now provide scholastic materials and other basic needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by improving the standards of living in Villages, there is a lot of change in people's lives. I have not seen anything wrong done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer on purchasing building materials ( timber, iron sheet) at UGX 1,080,000, Labour at UGX 200,000, stocked produce millet at UGX 300,000, clothing/ household goods at UGX 52,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that,I'm now happy because I can now acquire whatever I need to support my family not just begging all the time like before.

The moment I received my money,I felt very happy even if I was sick.

I have spent my first transfer to purchase building material (bricks and cement) at 1,200,000ugx,paid school fees for my child at 200,000ugx,household goods( mattress,utensils) at 100,000ugx and paid for labour at 200,000ugx.

When i receive this money, i will complete the construction of my house and also pay school fees for my children.

The happiest part of my day is when i get money and buy my children food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have is my health status. I am Asthmatic and also my Uterus is not well.
