Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have been married officially after my husband fulfilled the traditional obligation of paying dowery to my parent. This I consider a big difference because our marriage has been blessed, my parents are happy and I am respected as a wife by the community around me. Before getting the money, my parents were not happy with my marriage.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy when I got the money because it was going to enable my husband to pay dowery to my parent in fulfillment of the marriage obligation.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used my first transfer for buying 3 cows worth UGX 1,000,000 that my husband gave my parents as dowery. I paid a debt of UGX 300,000 and bought household items (a bed, a mattress, utensils), a solar panel and a battery with the balance.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means improved livelihood in my compound. I will acquire oxen for ploughing which will improve on my income source. I can not cultivate crops in time because I do not have the income to hire oxen for plouging on daily basis.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the noon time when I have eaten lunch, bathed and now reluxing. Eating food in time gives me the energy to do more developmental household chores which help build resilience.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of bulls/oxen that I could use to support my farming activities, early planting and large scale crop production. I cultivate on a small portion of land because I do not have money to facilitate large scale production
