What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my first lumpsum transfer, I built a semi-permanent house of 35 iron sheets with 48000 KES and I spent the remaining 2000 KES on food.

Initially, I was homeless, but now I am proud in that I have my own house where I have full authority and privacy, the biggest difference in my daily life.

I am planning to build an iron-roofed and should any amount of this my upcoming lumpsum payment remains then I will invest it on my fish business.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We plan to spend the transfer to build our own house being that we are homeless. We also plan to spend the transfer to start a business that would provide us with income. We also plan to spend the transfer to buy household items like furniture.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Our proudest achievement is that we have been able to get food for the family. We have grown enough crops which we harvest for food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that we have faced in life is that we don't have a reliable source of income. I pay school fees for my siblings and this has overwhelmed me being that I don't have a stable source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when am in the farm weeding. I feel happy because it is a source of livelihood to me.
