How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My previous goal is still in progress which is my house project. By God's grace, my house is standing and almost at the completion stage, I'm indeed grateful.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly has made my long awaited dream to become a reality and I'm indeed grateful for that. They are a dream come true, they have done me well.

My recent transfer was spent on additional building materials for my house, a portion of my transfer is being kept for workmanship, liquor to motivate the builders and food.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my payment was the best moment of my life. Money that I do not have to do any work for at all. Seeing that kind of money was overwhelming. I'm a business woman. I sell provisions for a living. My husband left me with our children and move away with another woman. He doesn't assist me with our children. I have to struggle to feed us and send them to school.Profits generated from my business is used to send my children to school and for our upkeep.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payments from GiveDirectly is that I can now afford our daily needs. I no longer worry about our daily meals. It's a privilege being enrolled in this cash program. I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity. Our lives will never be the same again.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am so grateful for this opportunity. Being enrolled in this program is one of the best things that have ever happened to me. Things got difficult after my husband left me. I haven't withdrawn the money but when I do,I will use some of my transfer to build my house. Hopefully after receiving all of the transfers, our lives will get better. I am also planning add some of the money to my business.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will do business with whatever transfer i received from GIVEDIRECTLY to support my children and myself because their father has abandoned us, and we are just through God's mercy.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The greatest joy is the news of Givedirectly coming to our town today to enrolled us. We've been seeing the work you people have done for other people in other town.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My greatest challenge now is being able to paid my children tuition and provide daily bread.
