Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has changed because through this cash transfer, I acquired a bicycle which has enabled me transport my tomatoes and silver fish to different markets. Secondly, my sitting room looks beautiful because of the nice chairs I bought. In the past, I walked for long distances and had no seats to offer the visitors.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money, I felt very happy because I got money for buying building materials and a bicycle for collecting water and going to the market.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have spent my first transfer to purchase building materials (2 trips of bricks) worth UGX 400,000, bought a bicycle worth UGX 300,000, bought household goods( sofa sets, 5 plastic chairs and utensils) worth UGX 430,000 and bought food ( 1 bag of g-nuts) worth UGX 110,000. There is a balance of UGX 460,000 which I'm planning to spend on labour and buying cement.

Receiving this money means I will be able to fence my home, buy a piece of land that I can cultivate and buy a cow that can reproduce support my family in the future.

I am happiest in the morning when all members of my household wake up healthy.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money to take care of the education needs of my children.
I am a farmer so for me to raise money to pay school fees, I have to sell some harvest which some times affects what remains for my family to feed on the fact that I don't farm on large scale because of limited space.
I don't have enough land.
