How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have any new goal accept my previous goal of building a four bedroom house as a suvinir in remembrance of GiveDirectly. To prove to people who believe that this money is a 666 money, I have decided to build this house so that they will see it and wonder. I will renovate my old house and use it as a stranger house for visitors who will come to me and don't have place to sleep.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done extremely well for our people. I have never seen this kind of organization before. Everything about GiveDirectly activities are transparent. Many thanks to GiveDirectly for helping us with this unconditional cash. My family and I are grateful.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in Yarpah town community when I received my first transfer from Givedirectly . I felt very happy because I have been undergoing hardships in this village to pay my children school fees and cater to my wife health. I am currently involved with running transport motorbike to fund for my children school. Giveirectly recent cash support to me is still unbelievable. Many NGos came in our community to work but later failed to implement the activities as per their promised to the community Thanks to Givedirectly for being transparent in implementations. I believe that with my transfers from Givedirectly. The current suffering I am undergoing will soon be over.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference this transfer had made in my daily life since I started receiving payment from Givedirectly is that I am now relaxed in hustle and hopping on getting money from Givedirectly to cater to my family basic needs. Thanks to Givedirectly for reducing the level of stress on me. I believed that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my dreamed to live happy life without any struggle will soon come to pass
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my most recent transfer to pay school fees for my three children who are currently attending academic school in Monrovia . My wife both eyes have been hurting for the past two years .Getting money to take her to hospital for medical examination had been a challenge for me. I am grateful to Givedirectly for empowering me financially. I am saving my balance transfer to take my wife to the hospital for medical check-up and treatment. I believe that with my transfers, my wife will be able to receive advance treatment for her eyes pretty soon.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I plan to build another house and to send my children to school with my transfer. I have 7children and presently I am not working. I sometimes ride motorbike to get my children school fees and to support my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My wife had an accident last year when stick fell on her head. So since than, I have not been able to get money to take her to Monrovia for treatment. But in December 2021, some of my friends in Monrovia help me with money and I was able to take care of her health problem so this made me very happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently my major challenge is money. I have two of my children going to school in Buchanan so to get their school fees, it is very difficult.
