Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was in the morning around 8am , I felt surprised and I couldn't believe it was happening . I thought I was going to change my life conditions.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life is becoming better because of the financial support from Givedirectly , I was able to pay back the loan I took and the rest of the money I am planning to renovate the wallls and the roof of my house.Moreover, I was able to buy food for my family.

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first thing I will do is to renovate my house because I am afraid that it will fall down if nothing is done about it.
I will cover it with sand and cement to make it strong and resilient and doing so will cost $700. The rest of money will be used to buy household needs such as kitchen materials that will cost $10; clothes for $50 and food stuffs that will cost $30.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In general when I have grown some food crops and get good production from it , I feel very happy because during that period I am assured that I will not lack food at home.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge I am facing is that my house is very old and when it rains the rain pass through the walls and reach inside which is a big challenge. When I try to cover it with mud it doesn't last. When the rain period arrives it's really hard for me.
