Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my house is currently plastered and the walls can nolonger be swept by the rains.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have a lighting system in my household. This will help me see at night. Thanks to GD, I am able to purchase a solar panel.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently, I sleep in a cozy bed thanks to GD. I can comfortably feed well without worries of what tomorrow holds.

I have a new goal of plastering my house and furnishing it fully.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different than it would have been without the transfer since I am able to acquire all the basic needs in life with much comfort as opposed to previously when getting such was hell on me.

In the next six months, I expect to live a very high standard lifestyle. I expect to be one of the most recognized individuals in the entire village.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving my transfer is that my living standard has suddenly risen, something that I never expected could have happened in my life.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is not being able to bear children of my own. I often feel so lonely especially as I continue to age. There is nobody to talk to as I also left my husband due to family wrangles when my step son burnt my house down and almost killed me. I am always lonely and this makes me so sad.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I get to wake up. This is because I know the good Lord has made me see another day.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfers on enlarging my house. Currently I stay in a very small mud house. I want to make it bigger and cement it so that it looks nice.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am most proud of is leaving my husband. However much it hurt me, it was the best decision I ever made. He married another wife since I could not bear children. My co- wife and her children made it difficult for me to stay in my home as at one time they ganged up and burnt down my house and everything in it. They even tried killing me! At least now I am peacefull after leaving my husband and that makes me so happy.
