I was very excited upon seeing the cash transfer message.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has changed as you know this time is usually the time when we most of the households do not have food for the day. It was so in my house also untill I got the cash transfer from GD. My life has changed so much to the extend that I am able to have food for the entire week.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought 22 iron sheets, 3 bags of maize, blanket, matress, and clothes.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money means alot to my household....I will use the money to build a new house with Iron sheets,, buy better beddings and clothes for me and my children as well as buying mattress.. I will also purchase a bicycle which I will be using for transport..
What is the happiest part of your day?
Im the happiest in the afternoon and evening especially when I'm with my household having food.. .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge has been that of lack of income which in return have made me to fail to maintain my house..My house does not have ironsheets and with the rains that have just started,,the roof is leaking and I'm unable to be at peace especially at night... The insufficient income has also made me to not have enough food for me and my children and failing to have good clothes and beddings..
