What does receiving this money mean to you?
"The plan I have for this cash transfer is to build my own house. This house is my father's house; My family and I are still living here because we don't have enough money to build our own house."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"What has brought joy or happiness to my life is the presence of GiveDirectly in my town. I have heard the good news and longed for their arrival. I know that this is a blessing and an opportunity for me to improve the live of my family. Now that you guys have finally come, I'm full with so much joy and happiness!"
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"I have many challenges but the main challenge I'm faced with right now is finance. I need money to build my house, send my children to school and start up a small business which will always give me money to take care of my family's daily needs. The money we get from the little farm we make is used just to feed ourselves and nothing else. My children are not in school presently because we do not have money to pay their tuition. Finance is the major challenge I'm faced with right now."
