What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means having a big and decent house. I stay in a small house which is also grass thatched and with the increase in the family members I decided to build another bigger house. I started building the house but I could not finish because I don't have enough money to finish building my house. With the transfers that I will receive I will finish my house so that my family can start living in a big and decent house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening , I usually wake up every morning wondering what to do to provide for my family. Now in the evening am happy because at that time I have managed to provide food and other basic needs for my family and that is the only time we sit and share our experiences of the day as a family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is lack of enough money to support my family.I don't have a stable source of income. as of now my daughter was selected to secondary school but she could not go because I do not have money to support her education. With the transfers from GiveDirectly am planning to send her back to school.
