How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life would have been worse because of the house i was living in. It was very poor and was leaking during rainy season.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I think what Give Directly does well is the amount of money they give us. It is a lot of money. I would like GiveDirectly to be coming in our communities to be seeing for themselves what we do with the money rather than being asked on the phone
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought cement i want to out floor in my house. I have also bought food and chairs

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when i received my transfer from GD was full of joy, it was a joyous moment of my life. The feeling was out of this world.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference this transfer has made is that we had never owned a good house before but now i have a beautiful house. A lion's share of the transfer went to the purchasing of construction materials of the same and i can happily report that iam staying in a very good house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Upon getting my first ever transfer from GiveDirectly i bought 5 bags of maize because at that time we did not have food. As a household we also purchased construction materials such as 7 bags of cement, bricks and lime to finish constructing our house. Finally i used part of the transfer to buy beddings and i also saved the remaining cash for daily expenses like buying relish, salt etc.
