What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought a cupboard for 8,000 KES, plastic chairs for 8,000 KES, kitchen utensils for 10,000 KES and started a business (stone quarrying) with 15,000 KES. The rest of the transfer was spent on other HH expenses such as clothing and food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Since I stared my business, I have been able to make some steady income that allows me to meet my daily needs.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my token payment on medical and hospital bills because I had a sick family member at that time and spent the remainder to buy clothes for my children.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to construct a new house as the one am currently occupying is old and dilapidated and is not comfortable and if some amount remains am planning to start a small business (selling omena).

We plan to renovate our house, venture into the stone mining business. We live near a quarry. We also plan to invest in farming.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement am proudest of is that my children go to school and are getting an education. I want to see them through the highest level possible.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we face is that we have quite a number of dependants to fend for, yet our income is not directly proportional.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I do house chores like cleaning and preparing breakfast for the kids.
