How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I'm happy because I now have hope of constructing permanent structure thus will stop sleep in grass thatched hurt soon. I'm also able pay school fees for my children. Life would not have been easy if I never received my transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by improving the standards of living in our villages. GiveDirectly has not anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer on making bricks for my house at UGX 215000. The re is a balance of Ugx 1417000 which I'm planning to use for building my house.

The biggest difference in my dialy life isthat, I am now a happy person.

The moment I received my cash transfer, I felt happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first cash transfer worth 1,700,000ugx, I paid tuition for my children worth 165,000ugx, I bought utensils worth 37,500ugx. I paid a debt of 1,500,000ugx that I had borrowed for paying tuition for my children.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means completing to plaster my residential house and purchasing household items especially beddings.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the the evening when as a family ,we have met the basic needs at the end of the day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lagk of oxen for ploughing and this has led to low crop production in my family.
