Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I received this money. Because I have been thinking of building a house for myself. But I never had the financial strength to do it. The house I'm currently living in is very old and can fall anytime. So, I have decided to rebuild it to a morden standard.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I was born in this town. The town have not seen any modern structure (building) except one built by a stranger. I made a plan that I will build a modern house in this town so that it can be counted as my "hand mark" when I die. So if I receive this money, I will begin the process of building that house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Over the past months, I had difficult time provide food for my family. The planting season is normally a hunger season in Sengbay town. The ripening of my rice farm brought me the most happiness
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My primary challenge is to get money to pay my children school fees. I am currently unemployed. My only means of earning money is through hard labor. My kids are often thrown out of school for unpaid school fees.
