How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I built my house many years ago but couldn't afford to plaster and put floor. I was very excited to receive the transfer. Upon receiving the transfers, I purchased zinc and twelve bags of cement to start the process.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am successfully enrolled in to Give Directly's Cash transfer program, I want to use some of the money to built my house and also support my children by paying their school fees. The reason why I said I want to built my house and pay my children school fees is because, the farm my husband and I make, the produce from there is not sufficient after selling. Besides, my husband has two wives as such, he is not able to support us fully, especially with the little farming that he does as means of substaining the family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what brought me joy or happiness is when I was able to realize something good from our farm for this farming season. The reason I was happy is because we have always been disturbed by the animals for the past farming seasons,so seeing myself harvesting something good this season brought me joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I'm currently facing series of challenges but the most of all is the lack of finances and food shortage. Even though my husband and I engaged ourselves in to farming activities but the produce isn't always sufficient because of the animals, they are always disturbing our farm, animals like grass cutters and even the birds give us hard time on the farm, something that leads to low production.
