What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used the last cash transfer to build a new permanent house that is more beautiful than what I had initially. I am proud to own such a house now. My husband died and left me in a mud house but I moved away from that when GD came to our village.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on 20 bags of cement, bricks, wall pass and steel door and windows which am currently using in building a permanent house since am currently living in a mud house which keeps on cracking. The remaining amount, I spent to pay laborers who were building my house, bought food for my family and other household goods which I did not have.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well in sending us money which has brought a lot of changes in our community in that recipients built decent houses and also did what they could not do before due to their financial status. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would have built a brick house which am currently building. I never thought I could build such a house in my life and this makes me very happy. Thank you GD for the transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying a sack of maize @3800 Kes and bought a mattress @3000 Kes. I also gave my mother a token and bought food with the rest of the money.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received the transfer, I felt very excited and relaxed because I knew that my children would have something to eat. If it were not for the money, my family could have gone hungry that day. Thanks to GD.
