What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my cash transfer worth 1.000,000 for paying a debt for land that I had mortgaged in order to pay medical bills. The balance of UGX 700,000, I spent it for buying utensils and food for the family since we did not have enough land to cultivate.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first cash transfer, I felt happy because, it rescued me on buying food and paying off he debt that was heavy on my back.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I can now acquire food and take care of my household. Before I received my first cash transfer, I used to work as a casual labourer in order to meet daily needs, especially feeding.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is persistent ulcers that have made me weak to the extent that I cant really do much work by myself.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I have finished eating. I feel very relaxed
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means I will be able to renovate my house since it is currently leaking. It will also enable to take good care of my grand children.
