i was very happy when i received a messsage that i have received money from Give directly i almost danced with joy because I have never have such a huge amount of money in my life

living in an ironsheet thatched house is the biggest difference i having each and ever time I look at my house

I have always wanted to live in an iron thatched house, so i used the first transfer to buy ironsheets, timber and other materials to improve my house

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am so grateful to GD for enrolling my family in the programme. My house is not fully finished when i get the funds i will use it to finish with cement both in the inside and outside. I will also buy a descent sleeping place for my family
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am mostly happy when i find food to feed my family
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My hardest hardship has been financial struggle. I sometimes do not have money or ways to get money to feed my family. This leads to my children and grandchildren crying of hunger
