What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying two sacks of maize at 8,000 KES, used 2,000 KES on a relative's funeral, deposited 25,000 KES into my bank account so I'll use it to admit my child into college in September, used 6,000 KES to weed my farms, paid 6,000 KES school fee for my daughter in high school then used the rest of the cash on food and other house errands.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am now very happy and relived that I'll be admitting my son into college in November, we had lost hopes of him proceeding with his education due lack of money and he has been a fisherman for two years now. Am also certain that my high school daughter will finish her secondary education now that she's only remaining with two years to go. Thanks a lot to GiveDirectly.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing a goat to begin livestock farming like my fellow villagers. I admired a lot other people's goats as they passed a long my gate. I am so happy that with the one goat that I purchased, I would soon acquire more when it gives birth. Besides that, I cleared some school fee for my child who went to a nearly day school and worked so hard to achieve her dreams
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy when I received my transfer which I saw as a miracle since I never expected that GiveDirectly as opposed to other NGOs, would fulfill its promises.
