How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because when I look at my surrounding I am not the only one doing well, everybody in the village has gained a lot from Givedirectly. The is more availability of transport in terms of making moves into the main town. And also a lot of people are building proper homes. So in general its just not about my life changing its also the surrounding that I am in that has changed.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
My opinion GD is doing well and I only have thankful words.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my transfer on fixing my house and I also bought food and clothes for the children. I also bought a goat. With the next transfers I plan on investing the money on agriculture tools so that I can start taking farming seriously. I also have in mind to buy a motorbike for business use.

I was so excited and very grateful for the program.It felt like a dream come true for all i knew that the challenges that we have been facing before such as insufficient income will become story of the past..

I now have enough food for the entire household as well as better beddings and clothes.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money really means so much to me,My heart is full of joy and i know i will be much more excited when i will get the transfer.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during noon hour's usually its because thats when i have my first meal and small chat with my children and this makes me so happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
As it is the biggest hardship of my life is waking up everyday walking long distances just to search for piece jobs,This is so hard because a day might pass without securing any piece jobs and that is bad because i have children to feed,secondly i don't have a nice sleeping place,i sleep on a matt with shabby beddings and i feel sorry for my self because i can't afford beddings at all.
