Givedirectly did well for us the under privileged. This organisation is the best. Since birth, Givedirectly has been the only entity to give our free cash with no strings attached. We can't thank them enough for sustainability.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at my tea shop people started saying that transfers have arrived.Though I didn't receive my first transfer in January, i was optimistic that this time I will be among the recipients. Immediately i rushed to the network point at checked my account balance and behold my first payment was there. I feel happy because this is my first time to experience such a gesture.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is am building my own house and in the nit too distant future, I will own a new house. Things are improving, though this is my first transfer but I am hopeful this kind gesture will transform my life.

I am using this transfer to build a house for myself since I have not owned a house for myself except this team shop where I sleep and do everything for myself.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" During the past years things have been very difficult. We been struggling with life selling to sustain the family . Upon receiving this cash transfer I will eventually build a decent house on my own land I brought few years back in Monrovia to relocate my family from this village. The remaining money will added to my business that I'm engage into now."
What is the happiest part of your day?
" In my past relationship thing were very difficult financial. But since I came across my new wife Oretha Johnson things became fine with me financial so I believe my wife brought so much luck to me and she carrying my child this have been the happiest moment in my life ."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" I have my shop and I'm selling some food stuff but there's no much buyers because where we are living is far beyond for this we don't earn much . We end up eating all most all of our goods. Secondly there is no health facility in our village and looking at the deplorable road conditions its difficult to travel for proper health care. "
