What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my transfer I was able to paid my children school fees, I bought iron sheets to change my leaking thatched roof. I bought enough foodstuff for myself and that of my children. The rest of the money I was able to paid workmanship
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done very well in my life and that of our village, givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new houses. Givedirectly has empower our youth with financial support. There's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm so thankful to God for making me to be part of this program. And I also thankful to GiveDirectly for their support. Because I'm very old and I can't go on my farm any longer. The house I'm living in right now was having leakage all over roof, I used to get sick sometime from cold. I never had money to change my leaking thatched roof. But with the support from givedirectly, I have changed my leaking thatched roof with iron sheets roof. My children where all out of school, but with the help from givedirectly my children are all healthy and in school. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used some of my transfer to buy zinc and other materials for my house project. I pay my children school fees with part of the transfer. I also bough some goods and save the balanced to transport my from Monrovia he's coming to plaster my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Everything i see about Givedirectly is good. If i die today, my soul will rest in peace because my house has finally been fix. My children are all educated .with Givedirectly my life will be reshaped. I have never handle such amount before until in my old age. Many thanks and blessing to Givedirectly for this great opportunity.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Am grateful to Givedirectly for the opportunity given to me. The house am living in was built by my son. Though am happy! for the roof he put over my head because, the house is incomplete. It has been my wish to one-day turn this house into a modern and and a decent place. But there has been no funds to do things foe myself. But by the grace of God Givedirectly came and give me money that i used to fix my house and make it comfortable. I aways wish to support my children in school without the interference of anyone but to non avail because of the lack of money and age factor.

I will buy cement to plaster my house. Some of my transfer was used to pay my children school fees. The balance money will be used to start a business . I believe before receiving my last transfer there will be total transformation in my life. The money i get from the business is what we used for feeding on the daily basis
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
"In my opinion, Givedirectly has been so good to me. With the help from Givedirectly i have been able to send my children to school this semster. Givedirectly came to me without me giving them anything's in return. The staff of Givedirectly alway smile and talk to me nicely..What i don't like about Givedirectly is that their works do not eat food from us nor drink from us.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal has been to complete my house. I have struggled to build my own house for the past six years. I make farm and sell my produce to pay for some of my materials. My children have also applied their little effort, but still we couldn't reached our goal. Now I will buy all of the necessary materials that is need for the completion of my dreamed house. I love seening children going to school, But I couldn't send all my children to school because of my financial disability. My children has started school from the transfer i received my from Givedirectly .

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When i received this money i started thinking about a lot of things. All the same i kept the money for fews days. I decided to buy cement to finish my house. And I also paid some of my grandchildren school fees with this money. I also started a new business to help me with my grandchildren school fees Due to the hardship I faced, things has not been good with us. Luckily by the help of GiveDirectly I'm now doing a new business and my grandchildren are now in schools. I'm also building my new house and things are getting better with us. With this money things are improving with me in our village day by day.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that my life has started improving from where it was. The hardships has gone down little bit because of the first transfer that I received from GiveDirectly. I didn't have anything because of my husband death. After his death things began difficult. I was always worry about my grandchildren. I depended on farming to survive but my age can not permit me to work harder again. GiveDirectly has been the biggest difference in my daily life. With the transfer that they sent me, i am able to get my own business and also sent my grandchildren to school.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When i received my first transfer it was like a dream to me. I was very much happy, I started singing and dancing. This was so surprising to me. I haven't received such a huge amount of money in my life before. I started calling my grandchildren telling them what GiveDirectly has done for us Because life has not been easy over the past few years, things haa been very difficult for me and my grandchildren.I never had money to do anything but since I received this money i have started a new business and it is also helping me and my family at large. With this money I'm able to now sent my grandchildren to school and do other things for myself. We are praying now so that we can get our balance transfers to continue improving our lives.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My grand children are many so theirs tuitions are high moreover, eating is everyday business so we need food. Hunger and High school fees are my challenges now.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Seeing my grand children promotional grade sheets over the last semester really make me happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I want to help my children with some more education which I didn't achieved and to get food for my house because raining season time getting food in this village is difficult. That my current plan for any money I will get now.
