What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used the cash to pay school fees for my children approximately 30,000 KES. I also managed to buy ten new iron sheets that I intend to build a new house for my child. In addition to that I also buy a new sewing machine. The rest of the cash I used to pay for my hospital bills.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by changing peoples lives through the cash transfer programs. Most of the village members have built new houses in addition to the domestic livestock that people have bought. In my opinion, there is nothing GD does not do well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is very different right now because I fenced my homestead and I no longer get disturbed by hippopotamus that I used to destroy my farm products before. Apart from that, I finished paying all the school fees arrears that I had before.
