With the cash transfer, I plan to buy land worth USD 1111 in Bukhaweka which is a flat area and good for settlement where we shall stay without any worries about landslides. I will also purchase a cow of USD 694 which will with time provide us milk for domestic use and selling to get money for buying food and books for children to go to school.
The balance of USD 138 will help us to pay school fees for children and food as we plan to improve on food security.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last three months, I harvested maize and beans which has helped us improve on food security in these months.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I currently face the challenge of landslide which threatens us all time that may lose our lives and property. We also a problem of poverty which comes as a result of crops and property destruction.
We also face a challenge of sickness which takes a lot of money and makes us fail to pay school fees for school going children.
