Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am expecting to start up a shop for selling produce after receiving my second transfer. Once my business is operational, I will be in position to support my family buy food and pay medical bills which is currently a great challenge.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I got a mobile money message at around 6:00 am when I cross checked, it was from GiveDirectly notifying me that I had received my money. At that moment, I was overwhelmed by joy because my plan to start up a shop of produce was going to be attained.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have not yet spent my first transfer but I am planning to spent it together with the second transfer to start a business of selling produce(beans, sorghum, millet, rice).

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will have financial support to start a small business to generate income that may help meet feeding, hospital and schooling expenses. This is because it's the major challenge I am experiencing at the moment.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am most happy during lunch hour because that's time I enjoy the company of my children eating together.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship faced in my life is inadequate money to be able pay school fees, hospital bills and feeding costs.
