What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying college fee for my daughter at 30,000 KES, built a small iron roofed house for my children, used some to furnish my house current house then used the rest on food for the house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that my child has never been sent out of the college since I started getting the transfers. I also have have my own milk cow hence I am now getting milk easily without going into my pocket.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD does well by giving the transfers directly to the recipients without involving any third party that would create corruption. GD should put measures to avoid family fallout after receiving transfer i.e. some women opt out of their marriages after receiving the transfers.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have cleared school fees and bought a dairy cow that gives us milk for sale hence generation of daily income.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to build a bigger house because I have a large family and my house is small, buy a dairy cow so I can sell milk and educate my children. I also plan to build a new house for my children because they sleep in a grass thatched house that leaks during rainy seasons.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I have educated my children and two are about to join college.

The biggest hardship I face in life is that I have no stable income. I have insufficient funds and can't even save.
