My life is currently better as compared to four months ago because I can now afford to get clean water at a cheaper cost. Besides, the transfers have really assisted me in purchasing medicine whenever I fall sick without having to fully depend on my children

I am thinking of finding a long-lasting solution for my water problem and so I plan to save the transfers I receive together with my household members to purchase a water tank. This will enable us to harvest rainwater to last us for a period of time. I will no longer have to spend much on transport costs

In my village, accessing clean water for drinking is a problem. The available source is very far which forces us to pay someone to bring us using a motorbike. Four months ago, the cost was very high because there was not much rain hence in most of the times, the taps were regulated. We were then forced to use very little in order not to lack. At the moment, there is plenty of water of the rainy season which makes fetching it to be a bit faster and reduction in cost. This has really saved our water budget hence I am able to use the extra cash for other household needs

In the next six months, I will have already purchased a water tank. This will be a great step in my life. I will be fully accessible to clean water for drinking as well as for cooking. The money I would have spent will divet it to my poultry project since I plan to increase the number of chicken.

I am growing older and older and getting less energetic to actively participate in casual jobs like when I was at my tender age. I rely on farming for my household food and since we had been affected by long droughts in our area, our yield had been too low to sustain us to the subsequent harvesting season. I had run out of food in our stores and each could spend a lot on food or go round my neighboorhood begging when I don't have money. I have bee frequently falling sick due to my old age and this had been my big problem since my medication could depend on the availability of money. I had been forced to persevere a lot of pains when I don't have the money, making my life miserable and stressful. My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I no longer beg in the society, have easy access to my family basic needs- food and medication unlike before. I am happy I live a healthier life than before and can easily buy food since I have income from GD.

The new goal that I have for my life in the next four months is to buy a water storage container. I currently suffer going far to fetch and since I cannot carry big containers, meaning I never have enough water for my domestic use. Buying a water storage container will allow me access to clean water at my doorstep.

Even though I rely on farming, long droughts in our area have made our yields too low hence cannot sustain us to the next harvesting season. I had been forced to sleep hungry since I had no money to buy what to consume whenever the little yields I had in my store is over. I am growing old and prone to illness hence cannot actively participate in daily casual jobs. I do not have other sources of income other than farming. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding my current is enough food that I have for my daily consumption. I spent most of my transfer on my household food and I am happy I no longer sleep hungry or go round begging for food in my neighborhood.

In the next six months, I expected to live a better life in that I will have bought a water tank. I expect to be having clean water for domestic use at my doorstep unlike now where I have to incur expenses to hire young men to help me fetch water. I will spend what I could spend on the water on other household daily needs or save for future necessities.

With the old age slowly creeping in, the strength to work in the farm and other activities is slowly fading. Since I do not work so much anymore to earn, the transfer gave me to way to buy food. I now eat well without having to overwork and when I lack before the due date that the transfers are usually sent, I will simply ask someone to give me money and will pay back any basic commodity when then transfers come because I was assured that they will always come every month.

I am planning to purchase a water tank in the next few months. Right now we have to trek for quite a distance to go fetch water for domestic use. This is so exhausting considering that so much water is needed everyday. The tank will help us reserve the rain water.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to have enough food to eat. Our location has not been productive as such in terms of crops for the past few years. This led to shortage of food and we depend ended largely on buying. Money is hard to come by, so when I started receiving the transfer, I thanked God because He answered my prayers. I can now eat well without having to overwork myself, especially with the old age.

I expect my life to improve and become much easier. Once I buy water tank, the several trips to and from the river will be a thing of the past. This will also ensure that I have enough water to drink and for domestic use and cases of bad health because of water will be out. I also expect to buy a cow for rearing that will be a source of milk for use at home and the extra can be sold. I want to enjoy my old age!

i have a new goal to accumulate some money in order to to ourchase a goat.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceeding the current transfer is the fact that I am a member of a merr-go-round with ten members and soon my turn will come so that i buy a larger water.

I expect my life to have changed in the next six in that I will be having a water tap at the doorstep since I would have bought the water tank.

My new goal is to pay fees for my grandchildren and start poultry farming.

Before GD's project I had no income generating activity that could help me buy household items. With GD's project I can afford to buy household items.
