What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent a portion of my second transfer on maize grains that could last me for a period of months following the poor harvest that was experienced in the region. Besides that, I cultivated my one acre piece of land and planted groundnuts which I am yet to harvest.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,Give Directly worked so well in ensuring that fairness is maintained throughout the enrollment process.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Were it not for the transfer, I am sure I would not have gotten the iron roofed house that I had longed for, for years.

I spent my entire first transfer on constructing a 2 roomed iron roofed house to replace the grass thatched house that I possessed before. I really thank GiveDirectly for the support that has made my dream of owning a good house come true.

The moment when I received my transfer, I felt so happy because it was my first time receiving such an amount of money.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is that my children are frequently sent out of school due to lack of school fees and feeding them has is a big problem because of my unsustainable and inconsistence income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I talk with friends as this makes me relieved of a lot of stress.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money makes so so happy as I'll be in a position to acquire all that have been longing for such as a house, education for my school going children.
