What did you spend your second transfer on?

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now own a more presentable house which has saved me a lot of energy and time in frequent repairing with traditional materials. It has also made the work of cleaning the house easier and has generally improved my family hygiene which has a great impact on our health.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying school fee for my son who had desire for learning further despite all the challenges faced back at home. Am so proud of him that inspite of the extreme poverty he suffered, he would still emerge to the best in school. Thanks a lot to GiveDirectly for enabling the young man stay in school and continue well with his academics.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so blessed when I received my transfer which came at the right time when I needed money most to clear the school fee arrears my son had in school.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Due to inadequate income, paying school fees for our child in secondary school, is the biggest hardship we have faced.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoons, when I'm relaxing after having lunch.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I feel very happy about it, because firstly, I plan to use part of the transfer to pay school fees for our child in secondary school. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer to plaster our house, and lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to plough our farms.
